Hurricanes Soar to Double Grand Final Victory

The Hurricanes Netball Club is celebrating a double triumph in 2024, with both their Under 13s Amethyst and Under 11s Maverick Juniors teams claiming grand final victories.

Under 13s Heart Stopping Win

A nail-biting affair that went down to the wire, with just three seconds remaining in the final quarter, the team delivered a heart-stopping ultimate point to secure the win against the Sharks. Coached by Kim, the team’s resilience, skill, and determination shone through in this nail-biting encounter that will be remembered for years to come.

Under 11s Break Through

After years of dominance and near-misses, the Under 11s team, coached by the one and only Pepe, finally sealed the grand final title. Their perseverance, skill, and sportsmanship were truly inspiring.
